and off topic, but why the hell do the SA2 treasure hunting stages only do radar for the “next piece”?? SA1 has the radar active for all 3 pieces, so there’s way less back and forth

Sonic Adventure 1. I love the hub worlds and how the stories of the different characters intertwine in the shared areas. And I love the variety of characters and being able to freely choose which one to advance (unlike Sonic Adventure 2…)

So lemmy.ca and piefed.ca have different feeds altogether when I view them, are they two separate things then?
Separate things, just the same admin I guess. You can follow the same communities from either one.
I have a Mastodon account and I haven’t sorted out any way to post on/read lemmy content with it
On Mastodon, follow the account for this community, just Mastodon uses @ instead of ! so it’s
@fediverse@lemmy.world
and you can post to the community by mentioning it - Comment on Putting ads for old.Lemmy.world on reddit would make this site perfect. 2 weeks ago:
There is not enough people on this site
If you’re looking for more content, I would suggest subscribing to more communities: lemmyverse.net/communities

I think you misunderstood, ada was suggesting using a different server than lemmy.world
some examples:

I mean it’s not amazing bitrate but it’s better than IGN’s videos

than it is growing right now
it’s not really growing though, if you look at MAU it’s shrinking
we had a big bump at the end of March but we’ve been shrinking since then
- Comment on Now that PewDiePie is on his Linux/engineering arc, could he help boost the Fediverse? 2 weeks ago:
I think the software should start hiding/marking them in some way
I don’t expect they will all be deleted, and I don’t even think it would be good to delete them because there could be a chance they start getting activity

You can follow the new community from anywhere, but if your account is on lemm.ee then you’re gonna have to create a new account somewhere, that somewhere might as well be retrolemmy.com
- Comment on Is lemm.we actually shutting down? 3 weeks ago:
another discussion here: crazypeople.online/post/2634649 (with people from outside lemm.ee)

yep, if you’re a lemm.ee user then your Export button will be here: https://lemm.ee/settings
the bottom of the right column

Mastodon handles it pretty decently where it automatically gets your followers to follow your new account, there’s no reason why communities/groups couldn’t do the same thing
- Comment on lemm.ee is shutting down at the end of this month 3 weeks ago:
The key reason is that we just don’t have enough people on the admin team to keep the place running. Most of the admin team has stepped down, mostly due to burnout, and finding replacements hasn’t worked out.
Lemmy probably needs support for different levels of permissions, like Discord has, and PieFed has this too (but I don’t think it’s as in-depth as Discord yet)
- Comment on Pixelfed Uptick in Monthly Active Users 3 weeks ago:
I just tried and PieFed cannot access PixelFed posts. Mbin can do it.
Personally I don’t mind the separation between some platforms, I’m fine with having 2 accounts. The UX is designed to work with the style of content anyways. But I know a lot of people want everything to work with everything.
- Comment on Pixelfed Uptick in Monthly Active Users 3 weeks ago:
only in theory, Pixelfed doesn’t use groups, so Lemmy cannot access their content since Lemmy can’t follow users

Make sure you check out Sonic Robo Blast 2, it’s a great fan game
- Comment on Improving the Fediverse to allow it to actually take over the social media space. 5 weeks ago:
Whose to say that’s the ideal? That sounds biased. Also the “ideal” (if there is such a thing) could change over time with global politics.
- Comment on Improving the Fediverse to allow it to actually take over the social media space. 5 weeks ago:
The people running it are only supposed to act if illegal activity is going on and they are contacted by authorities in the appropriate jurisdiction.
which is the “appropriate” jurisdiction?
what if it’s not illegal in my country, but it is illegal in the country where the server is? I have no other choice of server, you’re taking away our ability to join servers in our own countries
- Comment on TIL blocking users on Lemmy is nothing but a placebo 5 weeks ago:
Your post comes off pretty aggressive, phrase it as a feature request or bug report and you would get a nicer reception. As it is your post feels more like a rant than anything.
- Comment on Cost of running a mastodon instance 5 weeks ago:
Even without images, you’ll still be quite a bit of space. I’m not sure 50GB would cut it for 1000 semi-active users. Also you’ll need to pay for the domain name.
- Comment on Microsoft's Xbox Handheld: Switch-Like Dock and Multi-Platform Support 5 weeks ago:
I honestly thought the entire point of the Series S was that they would later be able to shrink it down into a portable device without any game patches
- Comment on Lemmy.one will be shutting down 5 weeks ago:
I wonder if it’s in the same git repo as Reddit itself, or if it’s separate software

Deleted accounts leave orphaned posts/comments, which still exist on the site but can be difficult for admins to find and remove: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/5525
I wonder, are you able to view these if you switch to “Chat” view?

Transcended seems good. I haven’t played it, but it sounds like it still has changes from Revision left over in it. Like cameras seeing bodies, pawns reacting to unconscious bodies, and dogs having the jump attack. But idk if those can be turned off. If they can be turned off then it’s pretty similar to our “Zero Rando”.
But we have more QoL features available that you can enable which aren’t included by default in “Zero Rando”. A big one being Password Autofill which isn’t enabled by default in “Zero Rando” but it’s huge for Steam Deck players.
