Or live with AA and indie games like many of us do, at tell AAA publishers to get fucked by not spending money on their live-service crap.

Still waiting for their frame pacing fix. Something seems broken atm

Too bad, I just wanna play alone and not depend on their fucking servers ever, of have to by a re-remaster in 2040 ;)

Can it be played 100% offline? The first remaster could not on PC :(
- Comment on Why adding modern controls to 1996's Tomb Raider simply doesn't work 3 weeks ago:
Godhand and it’s tank controls. It’s just painful to play, but it has one of the best combat.

Good. I bought it for the now neglected/retired singleplayer Terrorist Hunt mode - the strengh of the original series - so I can’t give a shit when their precious online-only cashcow gets fucked like this.
- Comment on Do you cheat in video games? 2 months ago:
If a game setting or mod does not do what I want, sometimes cheats can do the trick to tweak the balance of hp, stamina, enemy health, etc.
For multiplayer games to, fuck anyone that does!

Makes so much sense. TIL

No Rest for the Wicked
Reviews were pretty harsh and videos did not make it look that great. It’s been my main squeeze for about 100 hours now, having me put other games on hold only to return to it every evening after work.
Not even done yet, but currently, it’s a very solid EA game.

Same. Any game I find so good I know I’ll wanna reinstall them in 10+ years, I get on GOG even after the original purchase on Steam.
Otherwise, I pirate a backup copy or get a crack plus Steam backup my game files, just in case.
Is online only, then fuck them, I’m not touching it…

Planetside 2 did it for me, but nothing since :/

Bring those back Valve, I never got a chance to get one and want it so bad!
- Comment on Are there any games you don't play as it was intended to be played? If so, what game and how? 4 months ago:
Any ImmSim games, where I basically try to pull of moves and finish the game with the most unlikely approach for combat.
Also, open world racing games like Carx Street. I just drive around with wheel and VR and drift for fun. I have 200 hours and barely finished the forced tutorial lol

You beat me to it!! She wins in my book.
- Comment on Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week? 4 months ago:
Not sure you’d like it them. It’s basically Dark Souls at the start, then it becomes much crazier like DmC without a jump button. You start by getting destroyed by any enemy, then YOU become the monster they should run away from. Amazing powertrip for the record.
Then, mix in some spells (slow casting, no spam), Diablo/Grim Dawn loot (best I have seen in a non-arpg), and endless content and variety.
It’s combat system is very good and much deeper than Souls, especially with the Ki Pulse - kind of a manual stamina recharge button the squeeze in between attacks, on block, etc. Ads a nice dance to the combat.
So… can you name a few games you did enjoy? It’s so good, make sure you don’t overlook it.

No Rest for the Wicked
It’s better than I expected, but since it’s not really an arpg (PoE, LE, GD, etc.) or a crazy action game either, I’m starting to wonder why I would keep playing it over my beloved Nioh 2. I guess the amazing visuals, neat base building and slight verticality are a plus, but if I look at the combat alone, it’s very good and fun, but I hear Nioh 2 calling.
WAY better game that I expected tho, revoews have not been kind to it in the past.

Good simple solution, I love it! Auto moderation would indeed out them easily.

Yeah, reading Steam discussions ruined my day. Just full of racism under the vale of wokeness…
Those fuckin’ “Is this game woke?” threads we see everywhere these days might as well be “Does this game have any non-white male characters?”
They are worst that the stupid asses calling for characters to have a gender option in games with a story. I mean, anyone here didn’t enjoy Die Hard because they could not relate to the hero’s gender and sexuality during all those fun action scenes?
Now, on a totally unrelated topic: “Looking to buy the game, but do these devs prefer a penis or clit in their mouth?”

That’s PvPvE only right, or is there offline PvE for loners too?

Oh, don’t worry, I think 2016 and DE are the best boomer shooters ever made, and play most other shooters to their music (I’ve been a fan of djent since Chaosphere).

You are not wrong about bots, but bt deep gunplay, I mean gun mechanics, like planetside 2’s or CS.
Things like this:

Is non-sniper gunplay good like someone else mentionned here? From vids, the gunplay looks like what I have in mind, including the “stealth until you fuck up” aspect :)
