Prodigy and Academy are the only two I just don’t enjoy. I’m 46 and grew up on all Star Trek.

- Comment on Anyone got ideas on how to fix this bulging issue with thin prints? 4 days ago:
I would recommend redesigning the print if at all possible. Slicing a model of those dimensions is difficult in the best of circumstances.
- Comment on Can overture spools be dried at 70 degrees? 1 week ago:
I’ve never had a problem with drying Overture spools before. I concur that you should be able to follow the manufacturer recommendation.

Yeah… I spent years printing just fine on my Ender 3 v2 without any ABL. It’s just a matter of learning the art of manual leveling.

Oh, and there are a lot of creators in the space angry with Bambu about open source violations while still picking on “the little guy”
If you’re not interested in that, just skip those videos. Stefan (CNCKitchen) acknowledged the controversy, but he doesn’t talk about it beyond that. The other two I mentioned haven’t even brought it up as far as I know

I found YouTube a very useful source for tutorials, etc.
Check out CNCKitchen and MakersMuse. Someone else already suggested Zach at VoidStar Labs. He’s really fun and has a great sense of humor.
I love my Centauri carbon (I started on an Ender3 v3 and moved to a Bambu A1, and now I have the Carbon). I don’t like where the poop comes out, and I despise that it levels the whole bed every time instead of just the actual print area, so I only do that once in a while if it seems off

I’m pretty sure that’s already illegal in CA
- Comment on We Can Still Stop California’s 3D Printer Surveillance Scheme 2 months ago:
If I’m not mistaken, this DOES cover ALL manufacturing devices, and if it doesn’t, it will in the future
- Comment on We Can Still Stop California’s 3D Printer Surveillance Scheme 2 months ago:
Printer manufacturers won’t make state-specific versions of printers. This is going to screw all of us.
