- Comment on Australians are obsessed with SUVs and huge utes, but experts say they are making our roads deadlier 3 weeks ago:
Indeed it is a trend. e.g. I really like the earlier Subaru Forester size. Now they’re just like the rest. Sad and unnecessary imo.

I mean… They just put up the tax on alcohol again, so… But I agree. This means more black market tobacco & vapes. However, I imagine they would counter with “Finding the money in the healthcare we no longer have to provide for smoking related illness” or some such. (Even though many of these people will have private healthcare if that matters).
- Comment on Menthol cigarettes banned and every stick to hold a warning 2 months ago:
Nek minute all smokers are conscientiously popping their butts in the bin. Rendering the butt-warning (lol) far less impactful.

- Comment on Dutton slammed over threat to cut 36,000 public service jobs 2 months ago:
These public service jobs are Nurses, Doctors, Teachers & alike. Not bureaucrats. This would be a ridiculous move. Yes, it’s $5 Billion worth - however, Scomo spent $20 Billion on outsourcing similar jobs and consulting…
- Comment on Dutton slammed over threat to cut 36,000 public service jobs 2 months ago:
The public service jobs are Nurses, Doctors, Teachers etc. Not bureaucrats like headlines would have people believing.
