Well props to you guys for that apple, it is one of my absolute favorites. Right up there with honeycrisp. I don’t super care about apples in general, but there are so many damn overhyped apples coming out these days (looking at you, Cosmic Crisp) that I started to develop a disdain for apples in general, which made finding the Frange rating scale quite cathartic.

We def have them in Washington state USA. Also, might I introduce you to Frange’s 100 Point Apple Ranking Scale, a great way to waste some time if you care too much about apples like we Washingtonians do.

Actually, you could eat these if you wanted to! They would be a very neutral, underwhelming flavor, tho. And I think this is the only stage where they would be soft enough to be palatable. Once it matures more and toughens up it is too fibrous.

I appreciate the recommendation! I do have variegated spider plants and even they don’t like my office, unfortunately. But I don’t have a plain green one, and need very little excuse to get more houseplants, lol. I’ll keep an eye out for one and give it a go c:

Yeah, I was wondering about that as well, haha. I figure if these cute lil bois start being too much of a mess, I might have them be outdoor decorations until they are less active. I live in their natural range so I don’t have to worry about them being an invasive species should the spores float off and do their thing.
