Almost zero luck? So there is a component of luck in the game dressed like a casino?
- Comment on Ben Starr recieves Balatro's BAFTA award in a clown costume 2 weeks ago:
Yes. It walks, talks, and quacks like a casino.

You know that isn’t a reasonable take. Nice try kiddo

I think we should bring back candy cigarettes from the 90’s. Kids won’t be influenced because its not real smoking.

Actually, can you explain to me how balatro is not gambling or encouraging gambling?
- Comment on Ben Starr recieves Balatro's BAFTA award in a clown costume 2 weeks ago:
Poker is a gambling game. Balatro is loosely based on poker. Throw in some additional luck/randomness and change the money aspect to points. Gambling and addiction in general are devastating.
It would be interesting to compare brain activity of a gambling addict at the casino with a dedicated balatro player. I have my suspicions about what we would see.

Shouldn’t you be sitting in your own waste in front of a slot machine? Hurry along. The pot is getting hot! Just one more round!

Scene: A f******k user, chin glistening with drool, giddy with their discovery on the underground meme network known as ifunny.
“Look ma! I drawed a circle!”, they exclaim. “Very good! You’re gonna do computers one day!”. She takes a drag of cigarette and a swig of vodka. “Goddamnit. God fucking damnit”, she exclaims internally.

Wow. I bet it was pretty obvious the food tamperer was a fucked up moron at their interview. I would like to see the hiring manager prosecuted.

“American” here. We are obsessed with financing depreciable assets.
We are also obsessed with appearances and status.
I’m sure you can see from this thread some of us cannot comprehend driving a $5000 car. They will whine and come up with tons of excuses for why that just cannot happen.

It is enabled, but now I’m doubting that. I’ll double check when my homelab shift is complete.

I’m not experiencing that bug. My reverse proxy is only accessed locally at the moment though. I did have to play with headers a bit in nginx to get it working.

Just a heads up: internet points don’t matter at all. They have no bearing on real actual life. You can relax.

Here in United States we always used to think Europeans were stupid.
And it’s not like it’s prejudice from people never leaving their hometown. Nope, actually TV shows and movies make Europeans look way smarter than they are.
Nope, the conclusion comes from people that met real Europeans, either in Europe or in the US.
Last time I saw a European in Baltimore he was asking for dirty water in his drinking glass. The most barbaric thing I’ve seen in a while 😂
