- Comment on Microsoft pushes staff to use internal AI tools more, and may consider this in reviews. 'Using AI is no longer optional.' 2 days ago:
suits have been replacing long term essential employees with outsourced trash even before in name of global redundancy and efficiency. now they will just the ai buzz word to hide behind.
- Comment on Judge Rules Training AI on Authors' Books Is Legal But Pirating Them Is Not 5 days ago:
calm down everyone. its only legal for parasitic mega corps, the normal working people will be harassed to suicide same as before.
its only a crime if the victims was rich or perpetrator was not rich.
- Comment on News outlets in crisis mode as Google-led AI search push crushes website traffic 2 weeks ago:
google search has been trash even before ai, i believe its one of the reasons chatgpt got so much traction. first 2 pages are just generic slop with paywalled or ad-infested content.
i switched to kagi 2 years ago and its has relevant results on page 1 that i won’t get in google even after 10s of pages. plus i don’t bombed with ads for that term for weeks.
- Comment on The Los Angeles Police Department shot an Australian reporter with a rubber bullet while she was live on TV. Zero provocation. 2 weeks ago:
LAPD has right to defend themselves. she is lucky it was a rubber bullet.
IDF would have shot her in the head then bombed her house and kids school (with them in it).
well maybe in a few years, israel certainly are facing no consequences for a live streamed genocide. the same ultra rich scum are funding both, so they will certainly implement it here after successful trials abroad.
- Comment on Frequent TikTok users in Taiwan more likely to agree with pro-China narratives, study finds 3 weeks ago:
shouldn’t it be priority then to cleanup the deadly rot at home than pointing fingers on scratched paint on the other side of globe. china isn’t doing or funding a mass murder like us (again)
we are going to be spitted on everytime we talk about democracy and human rights when we fund and bodyguard the most murderous parasites on earth.
and what democracy when more than 70% of voters think israel should have been stopped years ago.
- Comment on Frequent TikTok users in Taiwan more likely to agree with pro-China narratives, study finds 3 weeks ago:
tiktok is no exception, today all major content sources are rottenly biased.
like anyone relying on msm or /r/worldnews will think israel is fighting for survival against an ultra-advance alien invasion rather than genociding unarmed starving population with missiles, drones and snipers.
- Comment on Pro-AI Subreddit Bans 'Uptick' of Users Who Suffer from AI Delusions 3 weeks ago:
that sub seems to be fully brigaded by bots from marketing team of closed-ai and preplexity
- Comment on I just came across an AI called Sesame that appears to have been explicitly trained to deny and lie about the Palestinian genocide 5 weeks ago:
so true, so glad isreal is killing women and children responsible for that rebel attack. many of these children weren’t even born than.
its not like israel has been murdering unarmed civilians and bombing schools since 1948
- Comment on The silent force behind online echo chambers? Your Google search 5 weeks ago:
i have been using kagi for 3 years now and as a developer i use search a lot. for me difference is so significant that i can’t use google anymore. google results are mostly filled with clickbait articles or straight up llm generated trash.
apart from relevance kagi index also seems good it prioritising good blogs and forum posts.
then the bigger problem is ads, even if i search in private mode, i will be getting ad and spam mails about that topic for weeks.
- Comment on If these mother fuckers are trying to make me pay for Healthcare to talk to fucking ChatGPT I swear to god ChatGPT is going to write me so many scripts for opioids its won't be funny. 2 months ago:
rich pushing for more people to have children. They outsource their own children care to others so having more kids has little to no impact on their lives.
and so that they can have all the leverage in an oversaturated job market full of desperate people with kids to raise. boomers caused the housing crisis, now get in line for rental crisis.
- Comment on Which reverse proxy do you use/recommend? 4 months ago:
having tried many in past, i always go back to haproxy. it has everything required as proxy and load balancer while also being very efficient.
