I like Proxmox for it’s first-class treatment of ZFS. You can easily run Docker/Podman on top of it or in a VM. Proxmox has some other advantages like replication and clustering, but I’d say you don’t need that in a home setup (at least I don’t).

If I had to redo my setup today, I’d probably give TrueNAS SCALE a chance though.

Can you remember when StarTrek was (mostly) serious SciFi?

This episode was filled with so many terrible cheesy scenes it could easily have lived without to get the point it was trying to make across. I get why they were in there, soap opera stuff, but all It achieved was making me feel like they’re wasting my time. I don’t watch that stuff for a reason, why are you making me sit through this?
The second half got a little better as there were less bullshit fillers, but still, I’m not sure that format should have a place in Star Trek. I think all of the other shenanigans of this show have been more than enough already.

Still, overall an enjoyable episode, but definitely one I’ll never have the desire to ever watch a second time.

In Germany you absolutely get subpoenaed for the slightest copyright infringement. There a law firm called “Waldorf Frommer” that does all the dirty work for the so called rights holders.

Game licensing is starting to become as bad as movie and music licensing.

Huh? I share my Jellyfin instance to people that are as tech savvy as a Neanderthal and besides some rare hickups everything works acceptably.

Ihope for it to be somewhere in the $200-250 range. Everything above kinda makes it unattractive when the Flashstor 6 exists.
