Maybe I’m just getting too old and grumpy for this teeny drama emotional crap, but for me this was the worst episode yet. I get that this was effectively trauma therapy after the Miyazaki incident, but boy was is not entertaining. It’s all just “oh, we are so damaged, nothing will ever be the same”. There’s nothing really at stake, no tension, no climax, just whining and speaking way too much in metaphors for my liking. I’m still watching Star Trek here after all and not some artsy independent movie.

I didn’t really like the Tarima stuff at the end. It seemed kina overdramatic. But damn, Nus Braka? Paul Giamatti is an incredible actor and the dialog for him was crazy good. Please more of that!

The fact that the world’s largest energy consumer and emitter, China, could eliminate its energy-related air pollution- and climate-relevant emissions by 2051 due to its rapid pace of WWS deployment should give hope to the world. The fact that China is already producing so much WWS electricity that it may supply, in 2025 ∼54% of what the U.S. needs in 2050 to go 100% WWS across all energy sectors, indicates there is no technical or economic barrier stopping the U.S. from reaching 100% WWS either. Because seven countries are further ahead than China in the transition, there is hope for other countries as well. These results suggest that the main barriers to a transition in any country are generally not technical or economic, but social and political.

Get a N100/N150 system with 12GB+ RAM for ~150 €/$. Alternatively check for one with replaceable RAM.

Because at least when you use their private routing feature messages go: sender -> custom sender’s server -> custom receiver’s server -> receiver
So unless sender and receiver are configured to use servers under your control, their will be at least one foreign server involved.
To be fair I’m not sure how that works, when you don’t use their private routing feature.

If you like SimpleX, you can host a server and configure your clients to use that. You don’t use only your server though, so I don’t know if this will satisfy your requirements.
