That’s something I’ve attempted to say more than once but never formulated this well.
Every time I search for something tech-related, I have to spend a considerable amount of energy just trying to figure out whether I’m looking at a well written technical document or a crap resembling it. It’s especially hard when I’m very new to the topic.
Paradoxically, AI slop made me actually read the official documentation much more, as it’s now easier than to do this AI-checking. And also personal blogs, where it’s usually clearly visible they are someone’s beloved little digital garden.

There’s like a million reasons some people can’t affort to go full vegan, and shittalking people who at least do something is not a good idea when the majority doesn’t care. It’s like saying people who use public transport are ok with global warming because they could just walk or ride a bike.

I don’t really see that conclusion, but that’s a whole another debate.

Understanding between individuals like you describe occur naturally all the time. When there’s a protest against something, nobody questions attenders about their ideology. If they support the cause, they protest. All together. It doesn’t have to be formalized.

I’m not sure if you use the term tankie correctly. Tankies are the people justifying genocides, massacres and oppression if their perpetrators claim to be communist.
I can agree with statist communist that we share values but disagree on how should they be achieved. But I can never agree with a tankie claiming to share those values while supporting regimes that would make even marx and lenin vomit (or I hope so, even though I’m not their fan and don’t know that much about them).

vegetarians are ok with killing animals, they are just not ok with eating them.
what?
vegetarianism simply means not eating meat. i don’t understand where did you get that all people who don’t eat meat have the same motivation (whatever that’s supposed to be) and present that like a fact.
i’m a vegetarian because i’m not ok with killing animals.

The main problem I see is that earth is not infinite. You have finite resources that are “owned by everyone” by their nature, and capitalism’s competitivness incentivizes their destruction.
World’s countries are allowing companies to destroy the climate, forests, and oceans. They (mostly) know it’s bad, but if they stopped, they would fall behind. And it doesn’t really matter whether the countries are capitalist inside or not - they are competing against each other.
I don’t see why it would be different if instead of countries it would be companies competing. If you have two giant companies fishing in ocean, how would you convince one of them to fish less so it doesn’t destroy the whole fish population? Any fish it doesn’t catch is a gift for the competing company. And sure, two companies can make an agreement, but what if there are hundreds of them? You would think it’s logical for all of them to agree on limits so they don’t kill all the fish - that would be the end every single fishing company. But how is that different from what’s happening with climate change right now?
I’ve seen a video where someone asked a Czech anarcho-capitalist how would the law in ancap work. He responded that the international law is an ancap law. You don’t have a Global State enforcing law on the world’s countries. They do whatever they want on their own property (land), and they form coalitions by free agreement to maintain peace and order and to deal with stuff like climate change.
Well, when I look at the world right now, I feel like that’s the ultimate argument against ancap. We don’t have anything resembling forever global peace, like some people belived after the cold war. The planet is getting warmer and warmer, despite all the global organizations and agreements. Competion is a competition. I don’t really see a way out other than a global state or global anarchy - the leftist kind of one.
And I don’t want to start on why I think a global state is a terrible idea - that’s not what you asked - but I’m obviously for the latter.

I’ve always had boring wallpapers so I thought these drawn were the funniest I’ve ever had, but I just remembered this wallpaper I had at primary school, that 12 years old me though was super funny: Image You put your browser icon in the middle. Hope this is better.

Go to school where all you do is nothing for hours every day and you’ll also eventually start to draw out of pure desperation :(

thanks! if you ever wanted to replicate it, this is the optimal sitting position: Image It’s utterly important to have the drawing arm in the weirdest, most unergonomic position possible. Also place your head on the table so you can take a quick nap if the drawing is too exhausting.

If they sue you for spreading lies about them, consider who would win. Probably discuss with a lawyer and tell them the specific cases you want to write about.
