His apology video included the line “I loved Charlie Kirk, he taught me things about Jesus that I didn’t even know myself”

Based on the close up of the shooting, it looks like he got shot right in the corrotid artery,
There are two carotid arteries. Based on the footage, it looks to me like only his left carotid artery got hit. It would make sense because bullets make a way bigger hole when exiting than they do when entering.
I don’t think anyone, no matter how skilled they are, would be aiming to do that. It’s way more likely to be a failed headshot or shot to the torso. - Comment on 2 days ago:

People will say “one thousand kilometers”
Will they though? I don’t talk about distances that large anywhere near often enough to really need a shorthand for it, personally. Had to even look up what things are approximately 1000km apart to even know what to imagine it as (it’s about the distance between Paris and Berlin).

Is it a thing to find German mortgaging standards whacky?! I finally feel heard! Basically everyone here seems to pick up 35+ year mortgages with seemingly low monthly expenses, but the overall amount of interest they accumulate over that time is absolutely insane! And still, everyone says that you shouldn’t pay more than 30% of your monthly income into your mortgage. It’s hard to even find a bank that allows you to pay for a decent Sondertilgung each year. And don’t even get me started on that whole Bausparvertrag, because I have no idea what is going on with it or why anyone would ever do that

It was all a Pentest! The company should have been operating under the Zero Trust Policy and their Security systems should not have permitted a new employee to have that many rights. You’re welcome, the bill for this insightful Security Audit will arrive via mail.

Should be mostly fine, I’d say. The Glans clitoridis is anatomically analogous to the Glans Penis, so I’d guess it would be around the same sensitivity (could anyone who has both chime in on how they compare?)
There’s definitely a lot of individual variability though, some people are hypersensitive and some people don’t feel as much or are used to it (as in, you can’t really move your clitoris out of the way if your clothing or activity is chafing it, so kinda just ignoring it is the only option sometimes) - Comment on YSK that hand sewing is a stupid cheap hobby to get into and reduces your impact on the environment 1 week ago:

This Halloween falls on a friday, so I’ll probably just be wearing the legs to work with a normal shirt and not mention them at all. Gotta fix all the hot-glued parts until then though, they fell apart very fast last year and I haven’t fixed them yet lol

You still need some toilet paper to dry off after the bidet, but the cheaper, “harder” paper does a way better job because it doesn’t pill up and fall apart when it gets wet

I’m not having kids, but this always feels like such a missed opportunity to let kids do something more mentally stimulating on that tablet.
Drawing apps and eBooks are right there! Hell, set up Termux and Acode up for them and let them program a bit (or like, I bet there’s a mobile version of Scratch they could use if they can’t read yet). Let them take photos and make little collages. Get them some music Synthesizer App so that they can tinker on their own little beats. Literally just show them that they have the tools to make something great instead of just shoveling in mindless content all day… - Comment on Who is the enemy? 2 weeks ago:
I thiiiink the thing with UX is that they consider overall usability and click paths, while UI is more down in the reeds and looks at more specific things like alignment, design language and color choices. The line between seems pretty blurry though, and how it works in practice probably differs widely between companies.
A good UX/UI team can make or break a project. As a Frontend-focused software dev, that kinda hurts admitting. It’s just always very frustrating to deal with them, because designers are specialized in design. So they neither know about technical limitations that make trivial seeming things hard (like conditionally changing a buttons color based on server state) but they also don’t know about technical “freebies” that the libraries we use give us (like just telling a component that they can overflow and render things wherever you want in ways that Figma would never allow you to design). So talking to them is hard, which leads to a spiral of never talking to them, fucking up the UX, and then dodging them while they try to get the UX fixed. That just sucks for everyone involved.
Hating the Design Team is apparently such a universal experience that Josh W Comeau has a great article on it. Really worth the 15min read, if you want to improve your relationship with the design team!

Software devs also hate UX/UI Designers.
And Product Owners.
And Scrum Masters.
And Software Architects.
And Security/Compliance Managers.
And QA Testers. And worst of all… Software devs.
