True, the best way to portion control any meal is to put 120% of your portion on a plate and eat the middle out of it until you get to 100%.

It’s interesting that you ask if they are vegan, as if understanding the ethical problems of eating meat would only be valid if you are also strictly vegan.
You evidently understand it is not completely ethically correct to eat animals in all circumstances, as you say you only eat ethically harvested meat. But you also say you believe humans to be special as a reason to eat animals, so why not eat all animals under all circumstances?
The main point though, why would it still be wrong to eat human meat if lab grown and consensual?

I’m really confused by people like this who follow their “Red Team” so blindly, they don’t even care to understand the origins of their own party, or what the terms “Conservative” and “Liberal” actually mean.
But fuck learning history, right? Who needs it?

BrewDog has never been punk. It’s always been a PR machine. I kind of can’t believe how big they’ve got with pretty mediocre beers.

- Comment on Poor Sega just didn't get the timing right. 4 months ago:
Yeah I understand they were all 6th gen. My point was just that it doesn’t really make sense to blame the Dreamcast failure on its timing. Dates also matter:
Late 98 was release in Japan Late 99 was release worldwide Early 2000 was PS2 in Japan Late 2000 was PS2 worldwide Early 2001 Dreamcast was killed Late 2001/Early 2002 Gamecube and Xbox
The meme makes it look like the Dreamcast popped up late, but that was not the reason for it’s demise at all. PlayStation dominating the market, as you mentioned, was probably the biggest one. People knew the PS2 was around the corner and the Dreamcast had barely been out in the EU by the time the PS2 was strutting it’s stuff on the Japanese market.
- Comment on Poor Sega just didn't get the timing right. 4 months ago:
Yeah, I’m of the opinion the Saturn was the real problem. It was not a bad step forward compared to the Megadrive, but compared to the PS1 it was nowhere near as good.
Dreamcast was a great console. It was really ahead of it’s time with a bunch of things, the VMUs, the internet connectivity, the range of peripherals and keyboard/mouse integration. It was the first console I ever got relatively near release and never regretted it.
- Comment on Poor Sega just didn't get the timing right. 4 months ago:
This is a really odd way of putting it seeing as the Dreamcast came out before the PS2 and was discontinued before the other 2 even came out.

Well for one, I immediately deleted my comment because I think I misread the post title, so didn’t want to accuse OP. How can everyone see it still to vote and reply?
Two: it’s talking about the trolley problem and letting one die. Seems transphobic to let the girl die because she revealed she had a dick (if that is indeed the reason). That implication is kind of there. At the same time it could simply be that both would be great options, which I think is what OP intended and is why I deleted my comment.
Three: it’s a shitpost and it probably doesn’t need such analysis.

What a terrible headline. It’s an interesting article, but I’m surprised i clicked on it to be honest, with what little information is conveyed in the headline and summary.
- Comment on UK petition of "Require videogame publishers to keep games they have sold in a working state" just got thrown back to the Government 5 months ago:
It’s true it does cost to keep things running. But like you say there are ways around this to push server costs onto players, or simply allow offline play with online features disabled.
I think if there were legislation in place then design decisions would adapt. If it were costly to just shut a game down abruptly, there would be player hosted options in place from the start and ideally less spurious “always online” requirements woven into the fabric of every game.

- Comment on Steam will stop issuing refunds if you play two hours of a game before launch day 6 months ago:
Aha the “Unlock Game Early Edition” trend, which is awful in itself. Makes it a slightly more niche loophole.
I quite like the spirit of the 2 hour no quibble refund policy. It does still have many problems, but being able to play for 48 hours and then refund no-questions-asked was for sure never intentional.
