What app are you using? I like cdisplayex for comics. Kavita is basically just a file host and progress syncer
- Comment on Yunohost, CasaOS, or Cosmos? 1 week ago:
I really like CasaOS, but if I were to start fresh today I would probably go YunoHost because it seems to have the biggest community around it.
Haven’t heard of Cosmos but it looks interesting and seems to have some features like reverse proxy baked in that would otherwise need a container like nginx proxy manager. It doesn’t seem to have very many pre-approved apps however.
- Comment on Yunohost, CasaOS, or Cosmos? 1 week ago:
The simplest way is to get the gluetun app (on the BigBearCasaOS app store), get it set up with your VPN, then in qbittorrent do this (with the port):
You can do the same thing on Prowlarr in the “proxy” settings. Radarr and Sonarr have a similar Proxy setting but you don’t really need to put those behind the VPN there.
- Comment on Readdeck vs Wallabag? 1 week ago:
Thanks it looks like Readdeck has Koreader integration too. Will look into Logseq.
- Comment on Readdeck vs Wallabag? 1 week ago:
The RSS feeds aspect of Readdeck is a really nice feature! Looks like they both can send from the browser directly (for paywalls).
I wonder if anyone could make a version of this with Bypass paywalls clean baked in for convenience.

Do you know if this syncs save states?
- Comment on Romm + Knulli (anbernic) handhelds? 1 month ago:
LOL in my defense they are the two most popular pieces of software for their respective duties.
- Comment on Romm + Knulli (anbernic) handhelds? 1 month ago:
Looks like they don’t do the exact same format, actually. For example Knulli calls it
pcengineand Romm istgx16. Same forgenesis(Romm) andmegadrive(Knulli). - Comment on Romm + Knulli (anbernic) handhelds? 1 month ago:
Oh interesting, thanks!

Komga doesn’t do uploads
- Comment on Is there a selfhosted eBooks app that can do this? 2 months ago:
Like I mentioned in the main post, Kavita is out because it doesn’t do uploads or embed metadata, and the developer isn’t interested in changing that.

The switch to CWA is very easy (I just did it recently) but I was sad to see the web reader doesn’t sync progress with Koreader or other apps.
- Comment on Is there a selfhosted eBooks app that can do this? 2 months ago:
Kind of. It allows Koreader apps to sync with other koreader apps, but there is no way to check the progress in CWA and it doesn’t sync with CWA’s web reader.

Koreader is great but it is a reading app, and it’s not great on android. I’m looking for a selfhosted library that can sync Koreader or similar.
- Comment on Is there a selfhosted eBooks app that can do this? 2 months ago:
Yeah I’m fine with a folder that it regularly scans or something, I just don’t want to have to properly tag everything/get cover art manually every time.
I currently use Komga for graphic novels (cdisplayex syncs progress with it). I had no idea it had Koreader support, maybe I’ll give it more of a look.

- Comment on DuckDNS URL no longer working on home network? 8 months ago:
Thanks, but I don’t think that’s it. I rebooted and also tried adding a new container to NGINX with a DuckDNS url and it won’t load on the local network.
- Comment on DuckDNS URL no longer working on home network? 8 months ago:
Well like I said DuckDNS is working
- Comment on DuckDNS URL no longer working on home network? 8 months ago:
Hm, pinging works and shows my IP. But no device I’ve tested can load the duckdns URL.
- Comment on DuckDNS URL no longer working on home network? 8 months ago:
Yes and DuckDNS is working flawlessly everywhere except that the network the server is also connected to.
- Comment on DuckDNS URL no longer working on home network? 8 months ago:
Arris G36 but I don’t believe that’s the issue as it was working for years before now and on a different router too.
- Comment on DuckDNS URL no longer working on home network? 8 months ago:
Thanks for the response but restarting the modem/router didn’t change anything, nor did creating a new container/NGINX config.
