- Comment on Is Elder Scrolls 6 doomed to fail? I can't see how it will work 2 months ago:
The game has proper navigation between planets, you gravjump because space even between planets are huge and nobody wants to travel multiple hours, days, weeks or months (depending how close to the limit of C your story allows) in empty interplanetary space from planet A to planet B in the same system.
The problem is how is presented, the loading screen play a role here too. If the gravjump was only the animation starting then you exiting without the black screen, or a more lengthy jump put you can move in your ship while the jump is happening the amount of loadings would not be so noticiable.
- Comment on Is Elder Scrolls 6 doomed to fail? I can't see how it will work 2 months ago:
If the game had a proper navigation between planets and less loadings I think the game would not receive so much criticism. The procedural generated content is not good but is not awful.

- Comment on Remedy and Annapurna announce a strategic cooperation agreement on Control 2 2 months ago:
Yeah but no one do all of that with the same tool, in the same place for every game.

Yeah lol, people forget that GoG exists god dammit.
We don’t need a launcher to install games on PC, every launcher purpose is to collect data.
- Comment on Microsoft’s controversial Windows Recall feature is coming back in October 2 months ago:
If you started using Linux with 6, or mac for that matter you’ll probably find that more intuitive than windows.
Sorry but the graphic interface of windows is jack shit, you have different types of system configuration and legacy menus all over the place, for anything more serious editing the Registry is not what I call intuitive.
I’ve a friend that had constantly BSOD while playing certain games and he only found the solution in a russian forum suggesting to rename a .dll file in system, that was in 2015-2016. That’s not intuitive. The biggest difference is the amount of time that people need to do that in windows vs in linux, in any case people without more knowledge in PCs are completely lost and need assistance.

But you see he invest 0.1% of their money to save some people in the world, sometimes. He is so generous.
- Comment on Microsoft’s controversial Windows Recall feature is coming back in October 2 months ago:
But at the same time is easier an answer more specific things than finding a answer in the windows forums, not only that is easier to search for “fedora 40” than “windows 10 update 22ThatBreaksMyFuckingSystem000”
- Comment on Microsoft’s controversial Windows Recall feature is coming back in October 2 months ago:
The alternative of showing things in the GUI is not great either because of the number of distros and desktop environment. I imagine that a article/forum response with 30 SS of the different combinations of distro + desktop environment will be overwhelming for the beginner anyway
- Comment on Microsoft’s controversial Windows Recall feature is coming back in October 2 months ago:
It’s not like people need the Linux community to install Linux, they didn’t need a “windows community” to use windows.
- Comment on Lemmy devs are considering making all votes public - have your say 2 months ago:
I don’t see how that’s much different from making a comment, it’s not election, how is voting on a comment/post different from voicing your opnion with a comment?
Do I prefer the completely private option? Yes, but if the alternative is that some people can see and others can’t, I prefer that everyone can see it.

Is Dota 2 with some shooter mechanics. If you like Dota 2 you probably like it, if you prefer a moba like LoL maybe you’ll not like it.
I played a couple of matches and to me the match go for too long.

They are more “community” than the ex-redditor secluded island that is most of the others instances, that’s definitely the side effect of age.

Depends, the /c/games@hexbear.net is politically charged as expect at any game community, what I found more interesting is the hatred for gamers(this one is deserved).

- Comment on Roblox gets banned indefinitely in Turkey over “child exploitation” 3 months ago:
Is labor. There is a whole market of Roblox related things, there are job sites, freelance sites that employ kids to work on design/programming/marketing of these game modes. To pay them the game currency that maybe later can be traded for real money.
Is not just kids tinkering with the game.
- Comment on Roblox gets banned indefinitely in Turkey over “child exploitation” 3 months ago:
If they ban a service without a guideline off what laws the companies should abide or either not giving a national alternative is totally fucked but otherwise I hope more countries start to limit what big companies can do within their territories.

I don’t know why you replied to me.
I agree with you is impossible to say ALL people from a country is something based on who wins a election. Sometimes the winning candidate doesn’t have the majority if you count the opposition + people who do not vote.
My original comment is sarcastic, it seems that I need to add /s to be clear.

- Comment on Youtube stopped working for me today when using uBlock Origin in Firefox or Vivaldi with anti-ad enabled. 4 months ago:
At the same time they are enforcing the ban on adblocks they are creating solutions for sponsor blocks to skip the ads that actually bring some money to youtube creators.
Funny how the paying for media content works, you can pay youtube but not the creator of that content, the creator himself gets next to nothing if the youtube algorithm doesn’t favour the content. Not a boring dystopia at all.
