Unless you’re paying your admin, you have zero right to demand or expect anything from them and it’s on *you* as a user to whom this (or any other issue) is important to follow that stuff.
If you don’t agree with how your admin runs their instance, fire up your own

Anybody who really objects to it can just block it. I don’t understand why they’re trying to get the rest of us to do it too – it’s their decision, but it’s not necessarily mine or anyone else’s
