Do you have the option to go to bed early enough that you can just wake up at the desired time without an alarm? May not work effectively till you’ve recovered sleep debt. You may need to sleep in late a few weekends to recover sleep debt, but don’t get carried away such that you can’t sleep that night. It also helps to tire yourself out with exercise so you can sleep when you want and then wake up without an alarm.
For other options, try a programmable butt plug maybe

Take out the fan, and put in a stand fan if needed. I think this is more closet than room, yeah?

Hmm idk man, anything that has ads playing everywhere 24/7 is not hipster, hipster is unknown, but stylish etc. Hipster is more trendsetter and macOS is not a trendsetter, it’s just a trend at this point. Anything pop by definition is not hipster.
To give a pithy example: macOS is to tech hipsters what hot topic is to goth hipsters
- Comment on As someone who is aging. Late thirties. How can I keep my finger on the pulse of current trends, particularly in music? 5 days ago:
Bandcamp is nice, they have a curated genre section that updates frequently. College radio stations as someone mentioned, then just Shazam or whatever or look at their playlist online. I hate Spotify because it just gives you pop shit and doesn’t do anything niche or indie. There’s also SoundCloud, they make curated playlists of new stuff frequently. Sound cloud also has labels on there which curate some of their newest bands. It’s super easy to find niche indie labels I think. Lastly, look at lineups of local music spots. I used to listen to Deezer for finding non-US artists, but haven’t used it in a while since Bandcamp is kinda great about covering everywhere.

Knowledge workers need to get out of this ego-driven complex that they don’t need unions. You’re working class and chattle, believing anything else is delusional and pathetic.

“Middle East” countries do pretty well if they’re not the target of bombings (Qatar, UAE etc.), and are luxury vacation spots. Lots of US expats moving to Oman.

Not all, it’s hard to say
Not that I am not “blaming” women for the lack of sex these men are getting. I am saying that if you’re comparing yourself to the best female in your group and her outcomes, then you’re constantly going to feel like you’re not doing good enough for yourself. You’re going to get depressed, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re not coupling. But you’re restricting yourself and constraining your choices.
It’s an untested hypothesis, but here’s some prelim evidence: pewresearch.org/…/key-takeaways-on-americans-view…
More women say dating is emotionally and physically risky now. What’s changed necessarily? I don’t know, I think it’s the hyper awareness induced by social media

Well broken clock, etc. etc.

That’s when social media started earnestly taking a foothold. I am guessing maybe this has to do with depressed females (there are studies which indicate social media use affects females more and also depresses them). Depressed females likely have different preferences and standards than those who are not, perhaps. If you don’t like yourself, you’re unlikely to pursue and welcome relationships.
Alternatively, that was the time of the Great Recession. Perhaps some young adults in general are too economically stressed to do normal activities?

I agree that hypotheticals and thought experiments are fun, but I disagree that any random speculation is a good idea. Everything should have a kernel of originating known fact, or some foundation. You can’t do science without starting with some known facts, or stating your assumptions based on such facts.

Dual consciousness is not exactly proven though, so idk what to think. Hope researchers shed more light down the road
