I’ve had plenty of swollen batteries, the double sided tape I’m using would give way pretty easily to that luckily.

I think the worst part is that they have jumper cables attached to the glass, so as it was pulling off the nfc and phone speaker would stop working.

Yeah, there’s approximately 3mm around the battery, which was almost free floating in the phone. When the back glass fell off, the battery came out with it.

I could potentially do that, I have to do the other side as well. This phone was designed poorly, the magnets are doomed to rip the back glass off eventually.
This is a warranty replacement device for this same issue.

I have the other side to print as well, and if I ever find a replacement battery I was thinking about making the battery removable. There’s a lot of wasted space in this phone.

Sorry, I had a better title, but it didn’t let me post it. The back glass of my surface Duo 2 fell off and shattered. So I printed a new one.
