I’ve multiple times ended up as clueless as that when setting out to find recipes online, so I have learned that especially for desserts and soups, and pasta recipes I really should just outsource that part of the process to my partner with pickier but also more discerning taste than I. I miss out on some onions or mushrooms here or there in savory dishes occasionally, but the couple of cookie recipes I now have saved always remind me that having a second set of eyes on that area of planning never hurts for me.

The time and effort economy is what gets a lot of us even more than the financial or attention economies on this one. Cooking is hard, but CHOOSING what to cook is even harder. And having to cover all bases and try to have multiple recipes finish somewhat around the same timeframe, I could hardly imagine pulling that off without some backup on the team to pull some punches for me in the late game

Probably just a side effect of how convoluted the statement is, despite how it describes the reality of that situation fairly accurately.

All they needed was the word “that” after “afraid”. Now I have read this 10 times and it still doesn’t read correctly to me without inserting said word.

Banality == Idiocy; Evil might not exist, yet mere stupidity and concessions to fear are found in every place where we determine that evil must surely have been. One could try limiting their search to persons exhibiting some semblance of wisdom or courage which they can use to aid their understanding/confrontation of their personal adversities and the environments of their past/upbringing.

Garbage in, garbage out. Most people have terrible taste and don’t have any clue what is good for them or their relationships with others/their environment. We are just monkeys with calculators after all

it’s when other people are starting to give you that “Do(n’t) they see the way they look/are acting??” face, yet one continues to refuse to confront the personal toll being taken does it begin to stray into madness. no one really knows much about how to take care of ourselves or each other, so without some form of obvious staring-you-in-the-face feedback it is often impossible for most of us to notice when we begin causing damage

God has had a poor track record of forbidding as of late, still sticking to her typical tendencies of letting whatever may be to exist, at least until such a time as it may no longer withstand the contradictions posed by its mere existence.

Today I learned: that there is a more exciting word than (false) “cognate” to describe an appearance of similar words between languages that may (or may not) have similar meaning as each other. Danke, meine “false-friend” 8)

My eyesight is shit (about -7.0 prescription lenses to correct) but my favorite game will always be these books I had as a kid called “I Spy” which functioned like a word search but only with pictures of little cutouts of various objects on a super messy but visually pleasing photograph of a themed environment on each double-page of the extra large but pretty thin (only about 20 puzzles per book or so), books.
Top notch training for me as a kid to navigate organized chaos, and find things around the room which had not been put away in any sensible spot after its last use.

Let’s be honest with this one. Most are probably just too lazy or inept feeling to figure out how to turn them off for themselves. The phone companies seems to have their software install with max volume and haptics turned on by default.

We could blame any species other than billionaires. We need to remember they are thinking, feeling, conscious creatures who would never interest themselves personally with ever committing “physical violence” vs any party, barring extenuating circumstances in which they felt as though their lives or the safety of their closest family and friends were in danger. #waketherich #onelove #onewave

Are we sure he would describe himself as either consistently “stable” throughout his experiences? Alternately, he might also protest to feeling as though his existence and the context around it might be well described as a sort of experimental setting, albeit not contained within a traditional laboratory setting.
Any world famous musician who not only survives their 30s but is relatively alive and kicking for decades later I would consider to pass the first condition, considering the track record for individuals experiencing that volume of fanatic obsession at young ages.

I saw bucketloads of blackberries growing down in the trees behind the park the other week. But as water with decreased nanoplastic contamination levels continues to become scarce in as many accessible places throughout nearly every system in our environment, Gourd is Good for keeping a filtered fitty (50 fl. ounces) of crystal clear lectrolyzed gulpers on hand in a pinch. It may even prove itself to be Great again, who knows!
