They need to ditch the veto, promptly. Then it might still have a chance of working.
But of course that won’t happen because of veto. - Comment on AI tools 'exploited' for racist European city videos 2 weeks ago:
It’s so disheartening that they are openly malignant about it, and still people are willing to be deceived hook line and sinker.
- Comment on Police are asking kids to stop pulling AI homeless man prank 2 weeks ago:
“it could even ‘cause a SWAT response.’”
Well, instead of calling on the pranksters to stop, maybe ask yourself why you’d send in a fucking SWAT team over reports of a homeless dude.

That will definitely work, but I personally think the flags are more instantly recognizable.

No visual alternatives to flags were given. (And that’s because there aren’t any. Flags will do just fine for 99,99% of the public)

Are you familiar with the situation in the Netherlands? Because points OP raises are not really polarizing in the Netherlands. Maybe you’re for example misunderstanding the phrase ‘The illegals who have zero chance to get a refugee status’ ?

I think you’re reading too much into my comment. Maybe it’s because of my unclear usage of ‘they’.
- Comment on Marine Le Pen banned from running for French president after embezzling EU funds 6 months ago:
I’m not really sure banning her from running will be beneficial to the French people in the long run. Bardella is warming up on the sideline, already popular and more future proof than Le Pen because of his age (without all of the negative baggage Le Pen brings). i’m thinking he’ll attract a lot of votes from already cynical people, taking this conviction as proof ‘they’re out to get her’.
But I get that they were obligated to follow the law (she herself helped pass). Damned if you do, damned if you don’t kind of situation.
