Don’t want to be a devil’s advocate but can you provide something more than “I’m offended”? Let’s say issue ticket(s), status page links, other people complaining, etc?

Working from home proved that most of the people are capable of “self-managing” and don’t need a corporate drone telling them what to do. I have a feeling that the push to get back to the office is fueled by insecurities of middle management that became redundant.

Try Inoreader. I’m using free plan but paid one gives a lot of features you could find interesting.

In the perfect world it would be a great thing to do. Old enough people should remember SETI screensaver. But we are not living in a perfect world and I would never buy a car and participate in expenses just to make some rich clown even richer.

I’ve been using Inoreader for few years and there is no single thing I could complain about. It’s good enough that I’m considering buying a subscription.

I wouldn’t expect anything else. Kill it and start again. If it still misbehaving, kill it again and check what’s listening on problematic ports.

There should be a mandatory test or exam before allowing companies to handle user data. And it should be perpetual.
- Comment on ProtonMail and SimpleLogin emails will be blocked from registering on websites 6 months ago:
I bought the domain, set required domain records as per protonmail docs, waited for verification to complete and enabled catch-all thingy.
- Comment on ProtonMail and SimpleLogin emails will be blocked from registering on websites 6 months ago:
Using a simplemail means you are bound to a provider, in this case ProtonMail. If you setup a custom domain you can ditch ProtonMail/Simplelogin duo domains and switch to a different provider whenever you want.
- Comment on ProtonMail and SimpleLogin emails will be blocked from registering on websites 6 months ago:
That’s why I have setup a custom domain and catch all so I can create aliases on the fly. Was huge fan of simplelogin until I did a though experiment about ditching proton mail. I will not pay for email aliases.
- Comment on Tv box recommendations? 7 months ago:
Not sure how but I’ve missed Swiftfin and was using Infuse on my Apple TV for past few months. Made a quick test and it seems that Swiftfin suffers from the same issue as Plex does - crappy connection makes crappy experience. Don’t know how Infuse makes it but with the same network settings movies looks way better.

By “connected” I meant controlled by the 3rd party with or without my knowledge/permission. If I cannot set what and where is being sent from a device I don’t use it. And yes, you can call me paranoid :)
- Comment on Samsung and Other Manufacturers Disable Phones Bought on Gray Markets: A Consumer Nightmare 8 months ago:
One of the many reasons why I don’t buy “connected” devices anymore.
