Over 75% of Japanese energy is imported under current circumstances and they have a reluctance to use geothermal for social and economic reasons. Wind is another good choice but they’re restricted in where they can deploy it by social and economic concerns

I work in a lithium mine, we make big rocks into little rocks the same as any other. What’s the problem? Unless you’re against mining in general, hard rock lithium should be fine

I think the biggest thing that people forgot in the efficiency debate is cost. What will hydrogen actually cost to go 100km compared to electricity

Well they have announced that they have a solid state battery that should be ready for mass production in 2028. They haven’t put all their eggs in 1 basket

I use bandcamp, not quite a cd, but you get access to a flac or mp3 depending on your choice and apparently they do a decent job looking after their artists. They even have days where all money goes to the artist
