Well, no. Im not going to ignore the last 80 years. Of course progress takes time and future-looking we can still do much better. We have the means, we have the land, we have the know how.

Agreed.

Twitter was transformed into a far-right Nazi sympathizing cesspool of misinformation, indoctrination and hate. If you haven’t blocked all DNS resolutions for the site by now you’re doing it wrong. The site will eventually be shut down due to these facts, it will just take another j6-like event to do it.

The USA is better than this. We should not be forcing people to live in tiny little dorms to work in our tech hubs due to housing costs. Build more apartments, fund it through corporate taxes and actually make San Francisco affordable for our brightest tech workers.

I repeat… If you make $100,000 for 40 years straight that is $4M. This dude made $21M in a single year. Ford’s share buyback program in 2022 totaled $484M. GM’a share buyback program totaled $3.4B in the past twelve months. We live in a fucked up world. Meanwhile, Ford/GM/Stellantis employees cannot afford to even buy the vehicles they make or feed themselves decent food.

Very interesting and very cool. Another very interesting thing here is the company building/running the small reactor is Oklo. Oklo is co founded by Sam Altman, which is the CEO of OpenAI, the company that made ChatGPT. This guy may be a household name in the next few years. Oklo goinf public via SPAC merger in 2024.

While I agree there is a very high probability of life out there, we truly do not know until we can prove it. This evidence JWT found may have another explanation that our scientists are unaware of yet.

- Comment on Germany Will Force 80% of Gas Stations to Install EV Charging, Too 1 year ago:
Im guessing but I bet it is mostly due to the local infrastructure. It is easier to run electrical and install new chargers at a place of business versus residential. The infrastructure at a business is built to expand unlike parking spaces at an apartment complex. You cannot easily tear up the concrete and install electrical when hundreds of families are sleeping or getting home from work
