When applying to a US government position with a certain security clearance, they will do background checks of you, your family and extended family, if need be.
And I’m sure that can be the case for any employer who needs background checks. That being said, I also suspect some of these people in the database are dead.

It’s lazy “development” in the interest of saving time and therefore cost of development for Ubisoft.
That’s all there is to it. They probably aren’t even trying to train it in the context of the game world, just take existing models and run a few phrases to show that it “works”.

Short answer is “likely”.
If you work in a field with sensitive data (financial, healthcare, technology, politics) you don’t get a phone designed by a China-government owned company.

Me, too. I know from the outside it feels like America doesn’t make progress. But on a local level, many cities and counties are making strides. I know the areas near me are trying to be cost efficient with public transport, but I also live close to DC. It’s kinda the thing here.
