Yes, everyone should stop developing SaaS
- Comment on [TECHCRUNCH] Google is putting short videos on Play Store to aid app discovery 1 year ago:
I don’t get short from video. I never liked Vine either.

Hot air station is a great idea damn. Do you ever have to deal with going too far? I’d be scared 😲
- Comment on Apple to Limit iPhone 15 USB-C Cables to USB 2.0 Speeds: Report 1 year ago:
Which is fine, I have a full speed USBC cable and it’s a thicc boi that I certainly wouldn’t want to shove in my pocket all the time and the 2.0 speed ones still charge my laptop even. But Apple is limiting the PORT, not the cable, which isn’t cool.

Arrrr matey, you should make those recommendations even if they’re not available for streaming 👀👀
- Comment on [HN] Exxon Knew about Climate Change Almost 40 Years Ago 1 year ago:
In my opinion, we should execute all of the oil executives, past and present, on the National Mall. I don’t think it’s even an unpopular take anymore.

No lies detected but son of a bitch that article made me sad.

Oof that’s what I get for talking about shit that I don’t know anything about. Sounds pretty scary 😬

What legislation? That seems like a pretty big deal and I’d love to learn more.
But the point still stands- how many openly trans people were there in 2003? Not many, probably because they were violently suppressed. The world today has a long way to go, but it’s getting better. All I’m saying is, it’s getting better.

Every year, there are fewer and fewer pieces of shit. 20 years ago, maybe even 10, no one would even know about this. Times are changing, and although it is true that a huge proportion of people are the literal worst, it IS getting better. Maybe in a few more generations things like this will be a thing of the past. Fortunately these particular scumbags are being held accountable.
- Comment on Melbourne driver Alisha Fagan, who killed grandfather then blamed crash on 'African men', jailed 1 year ago:
I recognize that, and maybe I’m just desensitized to it, but I live next to a road with a 30 mph speed limit and people blow by at 45 or 50 all day. Maybe the Australians are more desensitized to drunk driving to me, but I still think the bigger problem was her being wasted rather than speeding.
- Comment on Melbourne driver Alisha Fagan, who killed grandfather then blamed crash on 'African men', jailed 1 year ago:
78 kph/48 mph isn’t that fast honestly, I think the biggest problem was that she was fucking wasted. If you can’t keep your shit together at 50 miles an hour you probably shouldn’t be driving.
