- Comment on Amazon Luna and Electronic Arts sign a multi-year deal, as Luna expands into more countries 5 days ago:
Not that I’m super interested in most of what EA has to offer, but I will say of all the cloud streaming, I think Luna had the best performance.
- Comment on Cloudflare announces AI Labyrinth, which uses AI-generated content to confuse and waste the resources of AI Crawlers and bots that ignore “no crawl” directives. 2 weeks ago:
Until the AI generating the content starts hallucinating.

Phind.com is a great alternative that provides sources.

Just a PSA, never ever EVER request deletion of an Oracle free tier if there is any possibility you might want one in the future.
You can delete/remove instances or whatever as you desire, but you won’t be able to get a second free tier account even if the first is completely deleted.

To be honest, Wizard is the best way to play Avowed.
- Comment on EA has open sourced Command & Conquer: Red Alert under GPLv3 5 weeks ago:
Ah well I’m glad to see the devs sticking to their passions. I’m sure they’re proud of this move.
With that said, I’m still surprised EA didn’t try to capitalize on it somehow.
- Comment on EA has open sourced Command & Conquer: Red Alert under GPLv3 5 weeks ago:
Just in general. EA has a lot to around for.

Perhaps why this feels like them trying to save face.
- Comment on Two conversational AI agents switching from English to sound-level protocol after confirming they are both AI agents 5 weeks ago:
Oh man, I thought the same. I never saw the movie but I read the trilogy. I stumbled across them in a used book fair and something made me want to get them. I thoroughly enjoyed them.
- Comment on Framework’s first desktop is a strange—but unique—mini ITX gaming PC 5 weeks ago:
Sorry, I was stating that “much like their laptops, I like the idea of these desktops.” I was not trying to insinuate that they themselves are alike.
- Comment on Framework’s first desktop is a strange—but unique—mini ITX gaming PC 5 weeks ago:
Much like their laptops, I’m all for the idea, but what makes this desirable by those of us with no interest in AI?
I’m out of that loop though I get that AI is typically graphics processing heavy, can this be taken advantage of with other things like video rendering?
I just don’t know exactly what an AI CPU such as the Ryzen AI Max offers over a non-AI equivalent processor.

This is a perfect use for LLMs, although also a perfect storm for current LLM hallucinations causing a loss of continuity without some extreme fine tuning.
With that said though, I definitely want to try it out a couple times to see how it varies and love the idea behind it.

I loved the first three Hitman games but I couldn’t tell your which were the last three because it’s so incredibly confusing.

I haven’t seen it mentioned yet, but Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a great game…

It took me a second. I don’t really care for “spectrum” being universally used to represent specifically the autism spectrum. Obviously there are other spectrums, most everything can probably be defined by a spectrum.
- Comment on As a word of caution for those buying physical used games on Bluray, check the disc for holes. 4 months ago:
I know it may not be the most legal conversation, but how best can one back up physical games? It has been a long, long time since I last looked into it.

Right?

To be fair, I’m pretty sure that’s how PS5 handled that scenario even before this update.
- Comment on Loops by Pixelfed • Launching in a week 5 months ago:
I’m actually interested to see how this does so I’ve been following it.
As someone who enjoyed the brief comet that was Vine but despises TikTok, this feels like a throw back to that.
Of course, I’d be delusional if I said that wasn’t hopeful thinking.
