It may have estimated location data with IP from Wi-Fi. Location Services turns on GPS but that is not the only way of getting location.

Use a custom DNS and/or hosts file. You can cut them off the grid by blocking data upload to SSP. Don’t install many apps, for games that can be played offline, play them offline.

EAC installation process includes “registration” of a game, and the uninstall process “unregisters” the game. If all games using EAC are uninstalled, EAC itself also should be uninstalled.

- Comment on [Tom Warren] The PS5 Pro still hasn’t sold out in the US or UK. Looks like the $700 price point will mean this console will be readily available this holiday 4 months ago:
Let me elaborate. I have spent quite a lot of time providing voluntary tech support on Reddit and forums. In both of them you will see people having a blast & praising the community, and people pulling their hair due to frustrating issues right next to each other. Having the same OS or distro does not guarantee the same experience. People have different hardware, run different software and play different games. Also, choices regarding compat layers can make a difference, for example someone forces Proton Experimental on all games and it works out, while sb else uses Proton stable and it doesn’t work. Or the other way around. Oh, also don’t get me started on my Linux experience, it’s a roller coaster.

- Comment on Ethernet switch only partially working 4 months ago:
WAN and LAN1 ports on router 1 is used. LAN3,4,5,6 and Uplink ports aur connected on the switch. (model is Uptech SW-116) Uplink is connected to LAN1 on router 1. Other connections go to wall. I disconnected other routers, problem persists.
- Comment on Ethernet switch only partially working 4 months ago:
First router has DHCP enabled with range 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.80. Second one has “DHCP Relay” enabled with relay server set to 192.168.1.2. Third router has DHCP disabled.
- Comment on Ethernet switch only partially working 4 months ago:
2nd router is used as a wireless AP, getting rid of 3rd router is exactly what I am trying to do.
