The subreddit can get weird at times too. Like them talking about how sexy Jay and Rich are. Fan culture in general these days is pretty bad. I know I’ll never have to worry about getting famous and having a fandom, but if it ever happened I’d be cautious whenever I meet a fan. Some of them act like you owe them something or they own a piece of you. Ugh.

Not to mention Jay’s pervert movie recommendations.

- Comment on Twitter's removal of block function appears to violate both Apple and Google's app store policies 1 year ago:
No, on both of them it says the app itself must have the ability to block users. In other words, the user has the ability to block someone. Since neither app would ever allow a user to have the ability to ban someone completely from the site, the blocking function they are referring to is the blocking function as it exists today.

Lol that’s exactly what happened to me. I blocked his dumb ass after that little stunt. Now he’s back. Ugh.

Damn you! (I’m gonna blame you even though I blocked him too.)

This story links to an NPR interview with the pastor who says Christianity is crisis:
“It was the result of having multiple pastors tell me, essentially, the same story about quoting the Sermon on the Mount, parenthetically, in their preaching — “turn the other cheek” — [and] to have someone come up after to say, “Where did you get those liberal talking points?” And what was alarming to me is that in most of these scenarios, when the pastor would say, “I’m literally quoting Jesus Christ,” the response would not be, “I apologize.” The response would be, “Yes, but that doesn’t work anymore. That’s weak.” And when we get to the point where the teachings of Jesus himself are seen as subversive to us, then we’re in a crisis.”
It’s a real story.

It’s a progressive new site, and this story links to an NPR interview with the pastor who says Christianity is crisis:
“It was the result of having multiple pastors tell me, essentially, the same story about quoting the Sermon on the Mount, parenthetically, in their preaching — “turn the other cheek” — [and] to have someone come up after to say, “Where did you get those liberal talking points?” And what was alarming to me is that in most of these scenarios, when the pastor would say, “I’m literally quoting Jesus Christ,” the response would not be, “I apologize.” The response would be, “Yes, but that doesn’t work anymore. So it’s definitely a real story.
