  A year or so I turned off targeted ads from Google. I very quickly noticed an increase in ads with anime tiddies.

  I guess Google sees a correlation between people who worry about privacy, and people who are likely to click on anime tiddies…

  For me it was TLOU pt 1. I was so excited for it to come to PC, but it ended up being completely unplayable, and I wasn’t really a huge fan of the third-person cover-shooter gameplay. I played about 3 hours (and 4 hours of waiting on the menu) during the first week, and haven’t touched it since.

  I think the idea here is that if mods are bad on, say, memes@lemmy.ml, everyone can just leave and make memes@sh.itjust.works or wherever. There should be more competition here, at least in theory. Time will tell how well it actually works.
