Rather be homeless than a slave. My autonomy is more valuable to me.

Living in Aus during a heatwave, I’d rather my eggs remain raw and cold until I’m ready to cook them, rather than them spontaneously cooked in the pantry lol

- Comment on Australia (Act) Day (annual repost) 1 week ago:
That’s just… I don’t even know what to say. Disgusting and abhorrent come close to how I feel about that.
I’m half German myself (born and raised in Melbourne), and my family is so disgusted and disappointed that Nazis have made such a rapid and thorough return. This could have and should have been prevented, and yet here we are.

Make Australia Day the first Monday of February, like Cup Day is the first Tuesday of November.
I just don’t understand why we don’t change it. Not everyone is offended or hurt by the 26/01, but isn’t enough that some are offended and hurt?
The first Monday of February would ensure we still get a public holiday in summer and it isn’t on a day that deeply hurts a portion of our citizens. It doesn’t have to be on a specific date when someone specific happened in the history of this nation. We aren’t deeply patriotic.
I personally am of the belief that some citizens of this country like it on the 26/01 precisely because it hurts some of our citizens. Which is disgusting and unaustralian to the highest degree.

I get it, I do. But this is only going to be used by Dutton and his ilk to further divide us at this upcoming election. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

As a jobseeker (I am studying but do not qualify for austudy), this is foul. How come IT issues with mutual obligations don’t immediately ping against the payment and prevent cancellations?
They treat us like scum, with no regard to our individual financial situations. We’re labelled as “dole bludgers” and written off by the vast majority as saps on society. Then this happens and we can’t pay rent, pay our bills, pay our school fees (whether our own or our kids), buy food or pet food, pay for public transport or petrol or rego. Yet we aren’t given consideration or understanding from the public, just that we should “suck it up” and “just get a job”.
I feel great empathy for those affected by this, and am saddened by the lack of regard for our wellbeing. I look forward to what the reviews find and suggested outcomes reccomended by them. Though I am not so naive to believe this will change anyone’s perception of our place in society.
- Comment on Commonwealth Bank pauses plans to charge customers $3 fee to withdraw cash 2 months ago:
I’ve used CUA (now Great Southern Bank) for 19 years, and I never want to change. Never had an issue with them, great customer service on the phone and in-person.
I read these stories about these major banks, and I’m thankful I’ve never migrated banks lol. This is just insane.
$3.00‽ What a rort

Yes it it kept up to date. Currently 1.6 (newest patch). But no official multiplayer on mobile.
You can, however, copy your mobile save to PC if you have Stardew on PC too. You just have to do the transfer each time (mobile to PC, play on PC, then xfer that PC save back to mobile so it stays up to date).

Heh, Stardew Valley here. I slept on it for years, until I found that it’s available on the Google Play Store lol.
Works really well on mobile!!
- Comment on One in five Australian renters are living without essential items and in poverty, peak body study finds 2 months ago:
Yes. A 3x1 = 3bed and 1bath. 3x2 = 3bed 2 bath, and so on. Doesn’t have to be apartment or house specific either. My current apartment is 2x1 and the house I was renting previously was 3x1.

I was looking for a vast majority of these and was disappointed. Like, one of the blurbs was about how the dude saw the band play the song once at a festival in the 90s?
What about Oh Ah… Just A Little Bit - Gina G? That was 1996! She was in Eurovision! How is that not on there 😭
