You can make nice little self watering pots with a 3d printer and the right filament.
Those extending swords are really fun.
There are also 3d puzzles you can make.
You can also print models you’d like to paint as minis. You just need the model, sandpaper, primer and some paint.

- Comment on How much we can trust mojo🔥 performance benchmark by modular? 9 months ago:
I don’t think you can trust because we can’t verify the results they put out, plus iirc, people have done wild comparisons between mojo and different langs.

It kinda seems like if AWS permissions management and torrenting had a baby.

I feel like there’s a way to get around that… Like if you really wanted, some sort of system to Photoshop the keyword onto the piece of paper. This would allow you to generate the image but also not have to worry ab the AI generating that.

The idea that Tesla has that mindset in production and not just the design process is really funny to me

I would extend that and just say all first party operating systems are shitty

I feel like Tesla especially is one that’s subject to this criticism.

Thanks, that’s what I meant I just forgot what it was
- Comment on waiting for rust-analyzer 1 year ago:
I kinda love how fast the binaries are. I was timing something I wrote and, as a mostly Python dev, I was so confused when the program was running in the nanoseconds or something crazy like that and not milliseconds.
- Comment on OpenAI Quietly Shuts Down Its AI Detection Tool - Decrypt 1 year ago:
I read the article and was like huh, I’m kinda sad that they shut it down, but I really appreciate it point. I’ve been wondering a lot ab how this will effect academics and frankly, like most things nowadays, just seems futile.
- Comment on Writing C++ is easy. 1 year ago:
One of the reasons i started learning rust was bc of how easy it is to get into it, or at least that’s how it felt for me. It wasn’t until a few months into consistently writing that I started to encounter things that I didn’t understand.
