Amazing game. Perfectly executed. This is an excellent detail and a testament to the care that went into this game.

Yes, it does, actually. Thank you.

Ugh. Why can’t porn games get their own platform so I can look for a fucking game to play without having literal porn shoved in my face. What kinds of losers actually buy these “games”? Smh my head.

Well now you do. You’re welcome.
- Comment on I just want to make cookies :( 2 months ago:
Okay but that has literally never happened. That’s an absurd scenario you just proposed, you understand that, right? That’s just a situation you made up to make yourself mad, like a toddler.

Imagine being so small-minded that you refer to everything you don’t understand as nonsense.
And thanks for the quote. Don’t worry, I have no empathy for you.

Bonus points if they get to shit on Americans at the same time.

Okay so fahrenheit has a well-defined high and low, but an arbitrary freezing point of one certain chemical. All other chemical freezing points are arbitrary.
Celsius has an arbitrary high and low, but a well-defined freezing point of that same chemical. All other freezing points are arbitrary.
If your motivation is to minimize the amount of arbitrary values you have to memorize, fahrenheit is the clear winner.

Also it’s a 0-100 scale of how hot it is outside, and it requires no prior understanding to use it as such.

That word does not mean what you think it means.
- Comment on Interesting to see how dead the MMO genre has become. Are there still players around? 2 months ago:
Commercials weren’t the only example I listed.
I consume as much media as anyone, a lot of gaming content, and I don’t recall seeing a single WoW ad in years, not on websites, youtube, or streaming, Maybe you see those ads because you play WoW or other mmos. I haven’t heard any streamers talking about it, no articles or memes outside of dedicated communities.
I’m not saying those things dont exist. I’m just saying, as a general consumer of gaming media, it really doesn’t come up nearly as often as it used to. It’s more niche now, less mainstream. Which, unfortunately, means the player base is less dynamic.

Just because people still log in to grind dailies and world quests doesn’t mean the game has the same presence in pop culture it used to. I remember seeing commercials with Ozzy for wotlk, people would talk about the game, you’d see references to it, there was a south park episode about it. It’s just not that relevant or popular anymore.

I don’t think you understand how easy it is to flip the main breaker, and how nearly impossible it is to forget as you’re turning off basically every breaker in the panel before connecting the generator.
- Comment on Cords 2 months ago:
Someone incompetent enough to forget to shut off the main shouldn’t be operating a generator anyway.

- Comment on Cords 2 months ago:
FYI, you can just turn off the main breaker of the residence to prevent backfeeding into the power lines.
- Comment on Cords 2 months ago:
Tell me you’ve never heard of turning off the main breaker before switching to generator power without et cetera.
- Comment on Cords 2 months ago:
Tell me you’ve never used a generator without saying you’ve never used a generator.

It’s not “copium”, reddit is genuinely heavily populated by bots, advertisers, and sponsored content. There aren’t nearly as many actual people using it as before. I’m not saying they all came here, but reddit is definitely not “the front page of the internet” anymore, and hasn’t been since long before the api exodus occurred.
Nobody talks about reddit in daily conversation like insta, tiktok, youtube, or even facebook. The majority of people on the internet do not know it exists. It’s a weird, niche website desperately failing to claw it’s way to the mainstream, when the whole charm of it was that it wasn’t mainstream social media.
However, I agree that I’d like to stop hearing about it here.
