I also ove how Archer keeps track of how many shots he’s fired and they accurately depict how important ammo management is, like how Lana only carries 2 magazines for her tec-9s and it gets her in trouble cause she’s not a great shot lol

- Comment on End of 10 - Windows ten is ending. Microsoft wants you to buy a new computer. But what if you could make your current one fast and secure again? 5 weeks ago:
I work at a national IT support company talking to hundreds of windows users every week, and the general sentiment is that Windows 11 is unnecessary, new outlook is literally the Antichrist and people are sick of being charged more and more every year for crap they don’t want or need.
Just l8ke I still see 2012R2 servers in the wild, Windows 10 isn’t going away anytime soon.

What’s MS’s plan after this? Everyone I know that uses Windows/M365 hate it more with every passing day and is looking to leave.
I really don’t want to be in tech support in 2029 when they kill off old outlook. There will be blood on that day.

- Comment on Windows 10 LTSC – the version that won't expire for years 1 month ago:
I just want my games to work man. I have a huge library of weird and old games that I have spent years tinkering with to get them to run reliably on modern windows, I honestly cannot be arsed having to re-fix everything on Linux. WINE is not perfect and Proton doesn’t support everything.

Yeah I had to google ‘system restore point but for Linux’ haha

“Instead of removing 41,000 workers, the Coalition says it will now rely on natural attrition – or workers quitting their jobs – to reduce the public service.”
Oh great so instead of getting severance pay they just make your job hell and wait for you to give up and quit

Fantastic. Love it. Wonderful.
Never going to own a home.
- Comment on Shopping at coles a terrible experience? 1 month ago:
After those goddamn gates closed whilst I was halfway through and tore up my favourite pants I swore off Colesworth unless absolutely necessary. We switched to IGA and NQR and saved about $50 on our weekly groceries and don’t have to pack our own bags
Fuck Coles. Fuck Woolworths. Shop at your local independent or ALDI if you must.

I honestly had a head spin when I was told the voting isn’t mandatory and they don’t get time off for it
No wonder everyone is so apathetic over there

I did the classic American thing of getting wildly intoxicated and then ordering Taco Bell, it was the most underwhelming fast food experience I’ve ever had. Cold, bland, soggy food that I can do better at home with a bag of chips and some minced meat.
I wouldn’t recommend it over a good old quarter pounder meal.

- Comment on Are most people here left-wing? 1 month ago:
Yes, this site is very left-leaning. I have seem plenty of moderate opinions downvoted because they are centrist or centre-right, and the anti-Trump, anti-Elon and anti-USA sentiment is deservedly heavy right now.
Keep that in mind when reading comments, this place is a bit of an echo chamber at the moment.

Yeah it kind of surprised me too. HDMI and USBC is good for modern servers, but we have plenty of 15-year-old servers in production and even a lot of new servers still use VGA.
