- Comment on Microsoft wants $30 to let you keep using Windows 10 securely for another year 3 weeks ago:
I think your right about waning support for desktop for general use, as in the “home” computer but saying gamers will switch to Nintendo or Steam Deck, not a chance in my opinion…the whole reason people game on PC is a varied story, for me personally I wanted to experience the best graphics at the time, whatade me stick around is the realization that I can pay any game I want from any console in history with any controller I want, I dont have to pay for internet, I don’t have to worry about backwards compatiilty and I’m free to shop around for amazing deals on games.
Your right about the average family home not buying in but your wrong about “gamers” or more accurately any tech person just switching or dropping windows
- Comment on I miss console ads being this weird 5 months ago:
Seriously, that is not the message this ad is putting out. It’s about PlayStation being a drug, like ecstasy pills
Your right it’s not clever but it’s pretty clear it’s nothing to do with woman being sluts.

- Comment on Got a Ring doorbell? Expect a 43% increase in annual subscription 9 months ago:
I use Arlo doorbell and the floodlight, both battery operated and only need to connect to WiFi. Pretty good products although the smart notifications can get buggy from time to time.
Battery life on the doorbell is around 5 weeks, floodlight about 8 weeks.

If you could scale the strength of blowing all the way up this would actually work though no?

- Comment on Pfizer says it will price Covid treatment Paxlovid at nearly $1,400 for a five-day course, which researchers estimate only costs Pfizer $13 to produce. That's a 10,000%+ markup. Shameful. 1 year ago:
Wasn’t COVID research funded by taxpayers under form of grants/emergency funds to pharma companies during the pandemic?
- Comment on Nokia to cut as many as 14,000 jobs as profit drops by 69% 1 year ago:
I don’t think Nokias main business is phones these days but I may be wrong. I was under the impression it was telecommunications. Microwave wireless, networking equipment etc.
- Comment on European electricity prices tumble into negative territory amid glut of green energy 1 year ago:
From what I’ve heard the futures are already bought by the energy companies so real time changes won’t funnel down. Like everything, once they have us all paying exorbitant prices they are not going to go back unless the government steps in.
My last bi monthly bill for electricity alone was €270…

Can’t wait to see this reflected in my electricity bill this month…
