Thanks for the reminder to unsub 👌
I hate peacock in general because they purposely deny the ability to use the service on Linux. So I’m forced to use it on my Apple TV instead of my computer browser.
I only stayed with the cheapest plan in order to watch the WWE PLEs. I will figure out another way to watch. Fuck NBC and Peacock.
- Comment on 32, f. Are there any dating sites that are actually free and don't suddenly force me to pay to actually use the site? 5 weeks ago:
Honestly, apps (web included) in 2025 are just profit farming. It will be hard to get anything substantial from the experience.
Best suggestion is avoid OLD and just meet people in person. Get a hobby and attend things and eventually you will find like minded people.
Things like rock climbing, board games, cycling, etc. Hobbies that have places you go to and do a thing.
Sorry I don’t have any better suggestions 🤷♂️

It doesn’t work. I tried everything. User agent switching, etc.

I have no idea how they do it. I did try some addons to change my user agent but that doesn’t work. At least it with peacock.

You really don’t understand security updates.
- Comment on 6* months away now. If you're on 10, do you plan to upgrade? Make the jump to Linux? 3 months ago:
Another big component that makes it hard to switch for some is also the fact that many programs and web apps won’t work on Linux.
As an example , if you use peacock on your browser to watch things like wrestling PLEs, peacock(and other services) straight up block Linux users.
It’s annoying when the product will work but it’s being gatekept by these greedy fucking companies.

I hope this is a sarcastic joke.
If it’s not, support means updates. More importantly security updates.
There is a reason you don’t put a windows XP machine on the internet.

You… suspect. So no evidence then, got it. This is how false information spreads.

Do you have any tangible proof that you get marked as suspicious in any system?
Also my answer is no. Also, the companies feed on people that have that pathetic outlook of “they aren’t going to stop collecting data”. You can still take measures to protect your privacy and mitigate your information from being farmed. Granted you won’t be 100% unless you are living off grid and away from human contact, but that doesn’t mean you should cuck out to the data farmers.
