What if he’d had an allergic reaction on his way to the guillotine? Wouldn’t that be awful?

I generally like the picture quality from my LG OLED but the interface is not great and you are sooo right about the updates. My SO constantly complains about turning on the tv and it needs an update.

- Comment on Existing California solar customers may get blindsided with net metering cuts 2 months ago:
No going off-grid is a substantially larger investment than most people can afford. To be off grid you have to be able to make enough electricity even on cloudy, short winter days. That means your system must be massively oversized for your needs during most of the year. You also need adequate batteries to store energy for overnight.
Instead people get enough solar to offset some or all of the electricity they use - but on average over time. So they produce a ton during the day and then draw from grid at night.

- Comment on Borderlands 2 improved on everything I liked from B1 4 months ago:
The gameplay stuff (iirc) was pretty trivial things like better storage of guns, etc. Really nothing big. Since you’re so into BL2 I want to second what others said about the DLC - all of them are worth your time I believe but Torgue is fantastic and save Tiny Tina for last.
- Comment on Borderlands 2 improved on everything I liked from B1 4 months ago:
In my experience BL2 is the peak of the series because the writing is so good. Pre-Sequel, BL3 have some improved gameplay mechanics but the writing is so bad in comparison that they are forgettable. BL2 is top tier.

Another vote for Reolink. I’ve used their network video recorder with power over ethernet cameras and they are reliable and work well. My biggest complaint was that the NVR had a really loud fan on it.

Banning nazis is not a slippery slope.
- Comment on YSK that chiropractors are not medical doctors and "Systematic reviews... have found no evidence that chiropractic manipulation is effective" 11 months ago:
I’m a radiologist and I too have seen multiple cases of vertebral artery dissections and stroke immediately following chiropractic manipulation. Absolutely no chance I would ever suggest someone see a chiropractor.

You seem to be the only commenter here who recognizes that this would be amazing for pediatric patients - who coincidentally receive way more vaccines than adults.
- Comment on Walmart, Costco and other companies rethink self-checkout, some stores removing them 11 months ago:
Can confirm. Used to work for a big retailer and one day caught someone stealing (not food) and confronted them. I was a pretty solid employee who had been there for years but my manager had to fight hard to stop me from being fired; it was a really close call.

This is so true. In fact I’m still using a 90’s HP laser jet printer and it’s a beast.
