The latest update broke ipv4 on my ThinkPad, ipv6 works just fine. How is that even possible?

Unfortunately, Fairphone is not available in my country. I’d buy it in a heartbeat if it was :(

I feel the same. I think they got to a point where there’s nothing else left to improve, no interesting features to add.
The only feature I am really looking forward to is the return of removable batteries.

You must be confusing it with Lunacid

I recommend checking out Dread Delusion. It’s an indie open world game inspired by Morrowind.

I heard they are always trembling because they are too small to retain their body heat. And they are aggressive because everyone else is too big and scary.
These poor dogs literally spend most of their lives cold and terrified.

From my experience working for a management consulting firm. It’s more like everyone knows what the problems are and how to fix them, but they are too scared of screwing up to do something about it.
So they hire a consultancy company to tell them what they already knew and take the blame if something goes wrong.

- Comment on Any recommendations for PS Vita games? 8 months ago:
IMO, the Vita is the best platform for playing Hotline Miami.
Try Soul Sacrifice Delta if you are into dark games.
If you are into action RPGs, check out Odin Sphere.
Also, a good chunk of the PS1 and PSP libraries are compatible with the Vita, so it’s worth trying out some classics. I still boot up my Vita once in a while just to play Symphony of the Night.
- Comment on Fuck Ubisoft. 9 months ago:
Yeah, I think it was in Assassin’s Creed 2. At the time, people were unable to play the single player game they bought at launch because Ubisoft shitty authentication service couldn’t handle the load.
Guess who didn’t have that problem…
- Comment on This console generation seems skippable 10 months ago:
The best thing about this gen so far is the rise of handheld PCs, like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally. I mostly play on the Deck nowadays, while the PS5 gathers dust.

I read about it over a decade ago. Something about the game being difficult to emulate because of it. Now I can’t find anything :(

They also pulled a really cool hack on Jak and Dexter. They were able to hack into the PS1 chip hidden away in the PS2 for backwards compatibility to get some extra processing power!
- Comment on US kids want games subscriptions and virtual currency more than games this Christmas 11 months ago:
Exactly! This is more about the social aspect of these games. Kids are playing Fortnite/Roblox/Minecraft because that’s where their friends are hanging out after school.

If I didn’t, they would have figured it out before my first payment and I’d be fired on the spot without receiving a single penny.

Perhaps they confused yearly with monthly.
Reminds of a funny story. Back when I was reviewing the contract for my current job, I noticed the HR lady confused my yearly salary with monthly. That meant they were going to pay me almost $100k per month if that contract was signed!
I pointed out the mistake three times and she insisted the contract was correct. I had to contact a company director to get it corrected.
