Do you run OSMC in a container on your pi or as the base image installed with the pi imager?

but now a whole bunch of people are going to stay the hell away from OST paid subs
I have a use case similar to OP’s with my father, and was looking at a solution for subtitles. I was looking at their site yesterday. I guarantee you I will stay away from them now.
- Comment on My ISP has taken total control of my network 1 year ago:
I’d absolutely recommend using your own modem and router. I do it and the additional control over your network is more than enough reason to make the switch. Plus, using your own modem, and router usually pays for itself into the years, so there are financial benefits as well.
You will need to make sure you get the right modem for your ISP. You can usually verify which one you need on their website.

I haven’t seen that pointed out yet.
I’m not OP/Admin, but I trust the admins to make that call. To my knowledge, our admins haven’t ever brought this issue up before so I’m not concerned that they throw around the concept of defederation too much; it’s literally the first time I’ve seen in mentioned here.
And frankly, I appreciate our admins’ discretion. There is a lot of horrible, unspeakably awful and illegal stuff out on the internet. They are probably forced to see a bunch of it in their admin queue. I don’t want to see it. I don’t want to read it. If possible, I don’t want to take the time to block it. I just want it to go away.

According to OP, this isn’t about hurt feelings but about illegal content lol. I support distancing ourselves from illegal content.
