I can imagine that many people working on the Fediverse would find value this forum as a gathering place. However, it seems to be a little hard to find.

I was just in a conference discussion (at FediForum). I wanted to paste link to this forum into the chat, but I couldn't write it from memory. I searched, but could not find it.

  • I think this forum is a useful tool for the W3C social web working group, but the https://www.w3.org/groups/wg/social/tools/ page does not link to here.

  • Maybe the "community" vs "working group" distinction is important? The https://www.w3.org/groups/cg/socialcg/tools/ page has a link, "Discussion Forum

activitypub.rocks", but that links to https://activitypub.rocks/ not to https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/ .

  • The front page of https://activitypub.rocks/ lacks navigation menus. The page visible when I first visit the link is a promotion of ActivityPub itself. Links to related material, including this forum, are not visible until you scroll down. A set of navigation menus might be a more discoverable way to present the links that are in the "Hey implementers" section below. At the very least, a sentence at the top saying that this page is links to ActivityPub info would be an improvement.

  • SEO: when I search for "social web community group forum" or even "W3C social web community group forum", this URL is not in the first page of results.

  • One search result is https://github.com/swicg/forums . I realise that is the repo for a particular task force, but it would be helpful for the readme file there to include a link to this forum, for people who wandered in mistakenly.

What is a good way to make improvements? Submit a pull request to the https://github.com/swicg/activitypub.rocks repo?
