so i switched from i s21 to a nothing phone 1 with lineageOS, and when i try to play a video before like the beginning of 2026 it either doesn’t play (was like that on the default gallery app and fossify gallery) or it plays but its extremely stuttering. I’m not sure if it’s 'cause my nothing phone can’t like handle the videos from my s21, but when i watch videos from a couple of months ago its fine?!?!?!?!?? help
Have you tried with VLC? You don’t mention the media player you have used.

What encoding are the videos from your S21 in? Is it something that the phone (or just app) doesn’t support hardware accelerated decoding of?
Like old coder said, try another app first.
