  A beach episode to end the season!

  The moment the octopus shows up, we know what’s going to happen…

  But having it grab Enormita girls too was a nice touch.

  We get to see Magia Azure’s evolved form, and insight as to how Sayako herself has changed.

  We also get to see Magia Baiser’s evolved form fight her, and it doesn’t seem like she’s any more powerful than she was before.

  A good time was had by all, and a nice way to end the season.

    Was that the octopus tentacles, or the Sayako finding herself as a masochist?

    I thought the illustration of Sayako’s inner thoughts to be pretty hot and funny at the same time as she’s showing off her cool powerup.

  I follow the manga since the beginning, and not in my wildest dreams I ever thought it was gonna get an anime adaptation. I was worried they were gonna censor and tame it down so much they’d ruin it, but they actually made an awesome job!

  Now I really hope they announce a second season soon, the MahoAko you’ve seen till now was only at 1% of its true power :3

  This show went above and beyond in its delivery of its premise. Almost everything is so well done.

  Besides Cherry Magic, it is the only other unexpected 10/10 of the season for me.

  I don’t plan to start on the manga just yet though, in case a second season gets announced.

  I loved it, it was a fantastic finale. Different from the manga, but I think it worked so well in anime form.
