Thanks everybody for the help! I made some good progress on this.
What did I achieve up to now? I managed to:
* self host hubzilla (via yunohost)
* activate and use the activitypub protocol (connected to Mastodon account, with success)
* add the rss feed as contact
* add the rss feed contact as channel source. Here I have different issues, but leave them for later
* make the channel posts public by default
What is missing:
* auto completion in the add channel source app is weird. See

After some other tries, I've discovered that auto completion is case sensitive. If I write "Gia"... the source autocompletes; if I werite "gia" doesn't.
Even weirder: if I have 2 feed from the same website I cannot access both via auto complete.

The channel hase multiple channel feed sources, but none of them is showing up

So, we have some inconsistent behavior. See these two channels
The first has 2 connections (rss) both used as channel sources. They seem to work ss expected:
https://hub.deepsys.eu/channel/davide
The second has 2 connections (from the same wordpress webiste: https://www.wumingfoundation.com/giap/): general rss and comments rss, bot set as channel sources:
https://hub.deepsys.eu/channel/unpiccoltest
nothing! Same hub (mine) same accounts, just 2 different channels.
Maybe there is difference between the first channel and the others? Dunno.
Maybe someone can try and make https://www.wumingfoundation.com/giap/ general rss as channel source work ?
If so, could you let me know?
