An anthology of recent (2012-23) short space opera, a genre defined by editor #JonathanStrahan in an interesting introduction as "romantic adventure set on space and told on grand scale". This is a high quality collection by a diverse group of big names in modern SF, even if some (especially the Ann Leckie) don't seem to quite fit the genre. The standout to me was 'The Last Voyage of Skidbladnir' by Karin Tidbeck (who I don't believe I've read before) and my other favourites were by Alastair Reynolds, T.
