what is the best option for a Chromebook system?? I own a Chromebook but I don’t know what to choose, I can install Linux apps and they’re native and can be used offline, but Progressive Web Apps are smaller in storage!! So that’s nice too, I don’t know, I hope that in the future native apps will still exist.
Never owned a chromebook but generally, I think PWAs are best for services where you find the web version satisfactory (e.g. Discord if you’re not sharing your screen) or when the native app is just going to present you with the web version in a native window (e.g. Outlook nowadays).
Native apps are generally the better option for applications that make heavy use of your computer’s special hardware like games, video editors, OBS, etc.

If space really is an issue, maybe focus on PWAs more, but in any case, just use whatever the right tool is for what you need. If a native app works better than the PWA, use that. Same goes for vice versa.

my small Chromebook only has 64GB of memory!! So both GIMP and Krita destroy that memory!

Oof. Then yeah, I’d focus on PWAs then, if you can.
