Just need to watch how I water it.

I think you can, the plant looks very happy with whatever you’re doing. Imo they like to get a little rooty so don’t repot it for a bit. You can split the rhizomes easily with a knife and prop it when the time is right.
It looks like the plant succeeded in spite of your efforts
Others haven’t been so lucky. That’s a snek a split up. Had 3 to start with. Just overwatered

It’s a Snake plant the real trick would be, that not happening.
I’ve had a few but I tend to over water. My curse, or theirs
