Hopefully this will hasten the demise of EA and some of the IP they are holding on to will have a chance to escape to a company which cares about making good games.

Last I read the “deal” is saddling EA with $20 billion in debt, so here’s hoping.
But also, leveraged buyouts are fucking disgusting and should be illegal.

It’s literally up to other people to challenge them. I’ve only followed the EA Sports side of things but their reputation has been slowly tanking over the past 10 to 15 years. There’s a reason that they lost the FIFA license a few years back.
