Turns out I am still really, really burnt out. Weird lol.
Anyhow, between that, the heat, and the wildfire smoke, I haven’t had much time outside. This is a rather disjointed collection of photos but I hope you enjoy:
The container zinnias in the front are doing well:
It’s been a decent summer for rain so we’ve had a few friends stop by:
I’ve decided my front yard is a desert and am only planting drought resistant stuff there from now on (appart from the annuals you see sprinkled in there).
Here is the latest stonecrop I’m adding in lol
I babied my poppies this year because I split them, and it looks like it put out some new groth?
The front belongs to sage, stonecrop, yarrow and asparagus.
Ground cherries like it too, and it’s the one place all those milkweed pods I showed ended up apparently??
We finally had coneflowers survive a season and we just had to put them in a protective cage 🥲🥲🥲
Jewelweed is just going to fucking take over lol and I accept I have lost this battle. Please don’t kill my irises!
I went to check out the back corner and I’ll be back after first frost lol.
Weeeed
Corn is about tits high so that’s hopeful
The raspberries are good but not really worth the mosquitoes
Enjoy some squash
The sacrificial cuke just keeps getting bigger lol
A few legume flowers
