I am wanting to optimize the placement of turrets on my custom ship. Is there any information about the coverage arcs offered by turrets? Can they see below the install plane at all? Are they capable of aiming up 90 degrees from the install plane?

Honestly, they can prob just shoot through your ship. Let us know if you figure out if there’s a good arrangement though

I don’t think they can. I get best value from a nice flat top and slightly raising the rear most turrets
