One of my netdynamics.eu users wonders why the process for a new grou creation lokks the same as the process for the creation of a new user.
Can someone help him ??

@netdynadmin The creation of additional accounts will be improved in the next release. You won't have to create a regular sub-account and then go into the settings to change it to a group, it will be created a group account and ready to use as one. I submitted another change to do the same for creating an Org or News page (but that hasn't been accepted yet).
So far as I can tell the main difference between a "Restricted" and "Private" group is the default visibility of posts in the group. Posts in a Restricted Group are still public. The restriction is on joining. Posts in a Private Group are supposed to only be visible to members of the group. But I gather it's labeled "Experimental" because that doesn't always work as intended? Of course a Private Group can still purposely post something publicly too.
petrescatraian@libranet.de 4 days ago @netdynadmin that's because an ActivityPub group is basically just another regular account which boosts all the post it's tagged in. In order to have an account set as a group, you must check this setting right here:
(Btw, I now saw the description for "Public Group - Restricted" and "Private Group" is basically the same - maybe someone should make things more clear there - I'm assuming the private group is also, as the name implies, private, for anyone outside it).
The group is created as a delegated account to the owner.

1. Public-restricted group
The post by default is unlisted and because of that everything works. Friendica, Mastodon both users get the post. It's visible on poster's feed but it makes sense, since the group is public
1. Private group
* Posting from Mastodon works
Post gets boosted by the group with "assigned to" to the poster, visibility limited to the group and **group observers**
* Posting from Friendica doesn't
The post gets boosted with visibility limited to the group, inserted twice
