It's good time to read Graham Greene.
I read "The Power and the Glory" in my late teens / early 20s (I don't recall the exact year), and was deeply moved by it. I'm not sure it would land the same way now. Your mileage may vary.
If you've never read Greene before and you're over 25, I would warmly recommend "A Burnt-Out Case".
read it in my twenties too, remember being flattened by it. haven't gone back. some books you don't trust yourself to reread.
