    I imagine the stories written for this anthology featured only existing characters. So that would tell me these stories came about before SFA premiered.

    It hasn’t come up much, but from “Spock Amok” back in season 1:

    CHAPEL: No need. This is what I appreciate about Dever. He and I are on the same page. The casual, no attachments, this-is-just-for-fun, zero commitments page.

    For a previous issue it was explained that she is aromantic. I personally haven’t read the first anthology from 2024, but this is what others had said.
