In Another Thread about ‘D S 9’ & Challenged Characters, I Came-Up with This Why This Series Not Happened Yet, & Thus An Idea for A Brandnew ‘Star Trek’ Series

Why has there not been a ‘Star Trek’ series or series of movie that involves people with super intelligence & skills like that, but the challenges go along with it? Half joking, but ‘Big Bang Theory’s* character Shelton would work & be funny. Shelton fanboy did not pay me to say that or have something on me to force me to say that. Heck the other ‘Big Bang Theory’s character characters would work & be funny also. But a lot more serious, there are some challenges that give people traits that makes them the perfect crew members.

I was hoping that’s what something like the Section 312 movie might be about since genetically altered people seem to be the only true “outcasts” in the Federation (at lease on paper).

  Had not thought about that, that is great point. With that being said, what like ‘The Deep Space 9’ characters they would have those challenges, on top of their superior intelligence & such skills?
